Approach

Your practice, your choice.

Trauma-informed yoga puts the person on the mat in charge of their own body. Every class I teach, whether in a mental health setting or a public studio, is built on the same few commitments.

Classes use interoceptive language, cues that invite you to notice what’s happening inside your body. Over time, this kind of attention builds insight into how your body responds to stress and what helps it settle.

  • Choice in every pose

Every pose comes with options, including staying still. Resting is always part of the class.

  • Invitational language

Cues are offered as invitations, like “you might try” or “if it feels right.” Students notice what they feel and decide what to do with it.

  • You know your body best

There is no right way for a pose to look. Each person is the expert on what feels right for them.

  • Structure that builds trust

Classes follow a consistent, predictable flow, so students can trust the space and settle into their practice.

Private sessions

One-on-one, at your pace.

Private sessions are shaped around what you want from your practice. Some people come to build a practice they can do at home. Others are new to yoga, coming back after time away, or want a quieter room than a group class.

We start with a conversation about what you're looking for, and set the format, timing and place together. Reach out for availability and rates.
